About Naomi

Naomi Blake has always been driven. At the tender age of 15, Naomi fought her way to an exclusive student apprenticeship with Windsor’s local Cogeco cable TV station. For the next three years, she volunteered her time and demonstrated a genuine eagerness to learn how advertising and marketing worked in the world of visual media. Fuelled by an ambitious desire to become a sports broadcaster, Naomi fully immersed herself at Cogeco into the world of sports, attempting to learn everything necessary to will herself to a professional level.

Naomi’s dreams eventually came true: she worked promotional/advertising placements for the Windsor Spitfires and the Detroit Pistons, Lions, and Tigers. She also found work as a public relations representative for Red Bull, Hypnotiq, Kokanee, Subway, and General Motors. What’s more, Naomi even had the pleasure of reaching the semi-finals of the Deal or No Deal briefcase girl competition at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. All of these experiences enriched Naomi’s knowledge of public relations work, which would prove invaluable to her future career in real estate.

After finishing school, Naomi found herself in search of a more secure profession. Fortuitously, Manor Windsor Realty Ltd. ran an ad looking for a part-time receptionist; Naomi’s application was submitted that same day.

Determined to land this job, Naomi pitched her credentials again, confident in her ability to fulfill any task the company presented her. She started two days later. Although overwhelmed with the nightly tasks and duties that came with working for one of Windsor and Essex County’s prime agencies, Naomi gradually nurtured a passion for the world of real estate. Before long, she secured a fulltime position as a receptionist. Following that, Naomi was twice promoted: first into a position processing real estate transactions, and later into advertising development.

After a number of years with the company, Naomi knew she could only reach higher; she grew a successful business partnership with Rob Agnew, who graciously took a leap of faith as he hired her as his advertising/marketing director. Seven years later, the two partners have developed a wonderfully respectful and professional rapport.

Rob, being the respected philanthropist that he is, went on to sponsor Naomi as she competed in “Dancing with the Local Stars,” the Better World Today Association’s charity dance competition, in which she was represented as the local sports model. After months of strenuous and time-consuming training, Naomi and her partner were proud to make it to the semi-finals and even prouder to have raised money and awareness for bone marrow transplants.
